Tomorrow is the last day to get your Proxy to the Board if you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting. You may hand deliver to house number 2614. Proxies received after Tuesday, November 17, will not be eligible for the meeting. If you are the holder of a Proxy, please remember to bring it with you to the meeting Wednesday, November 18. We are one week away from our Annual Members Meeting. The meeting takes place at the Poulsbo Library, downstairs classroom, at 7 pm. Sign in begins at 6:45 pm. Please remember to mail or bring in Proxies that you may have. Hope to see you all there.
Annual Meeting
This is just a friendly reminder that our Annual Members meeting is two weeks away, Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will take place at the Poulsbo Library, downstairs classroom, sign in begins at 6:45 pm. Please remember to fill out and return your Proxy, no later than November 17, if you are unable to attend. A quorum is necessary for actions that need to be taken at this meeting. We will have a representative from Reid Property present to explain how they can assist our HOA, as well as answer any questions members may have regarding the hiring a professional management company, including cost and services provided. If you are interested in becoming the Secretary or Treasurer, please come prepared to nominate and speak on your behalf.
On a separate note, all meeting minutes can be found on this website. On these minutes, you will find references to attachments. All attachments are officially recorded in the Board’s Meeting Minute binder, and are available for review upon request. The attachments cannot be seen via the website, the Board apologizes for any inconvenience.

Halloween Decorations
Congratulations to this year’s Halloween decoration contest winners; it was a tie between Brian Luzadar and Glen and Tina Johnston. We want to thank everyone that made their homes festive and fun for trick-or-treaters.
Annual Meeting
The Board has set the date for the Annual Members Meeting. Join us Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Poulsbo Library. Sign in will begin at 6:45 pm and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Please be looking in the mail for your newsletter, meeting notice, meeting agenda, adopted 2016 budget and proxy. This meeting requires a quorum for actions that need to be taken. There will be a Board meeting October 15, 2015 at 7:30 pm. This meeting will be held at Safeway, in the seating/lounge area next to the deli. We are making final preparations for the Annual Association Members Meeting. All meetings are open to the members for observation.

HOA Update Sept 8, 2015
We regret to inform you that Justin Foley has tendered his resignation as HOA President. For the immediate time being, the Secretary will be acting President (Avondale Glen By-Laws, Article 6, Section 5). If any homeowner in good standing is interested in becoming the successor for the duration of Justin’s term (Avondale Glen By-Laws, Article 5, Section 5), please contact the HOA at avondaleglenpresident@gmail.com. The duration for the current Presidential Term runs until December 2016.
Additionally, the Board is currently researching and seeking a professional management company to assist in the future success of the Avondale Glen HOA (CC&R Article 3, Section 5, subparagraph k).
Once more information is available, the Board will schedule a Director’s meeting to accept the resignation of the current President, appoint a new President, as well as discuss the approval of any proposals the Board receives regarding professional management.

Congratulations to Julie P. on her appointment to the Secretary position!
Please anticipate a board meeting in the future to address… (landscaper, secretary acclimation, mailbox concerns, etc). This meeting will be held in a public facility. All neighbors are welcomed and encouraged to attend!
We are interested in consulting a management company to take over the responsibility of the board. Due to the landscaper costs, attorney costs, and neighbor disagreement on interpretation of CCR’s, we feel that this may be a valuable option for our neighborhood at this time.
Please consider attending our next board meeting, as it is announced. We welcome any insight or feedback regarding this information!

There will be a short board meeting Tuesday the 21st at 7:00 p.m. at the president’s home, 2711. On the agenda is secretary replacement options and fines for late payment (closed session). As always, observers are welcome, however, childcare is NOT provided. It is a meeting for adult homeowners only. Thank you!
