Congratulations to 2734, lot 21 and 2740, lot 22 on having this year’s best Halloween decorations! Our next contest will be in December for the best holiday decorations. We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!

Do you have a home phone line (landline)? Someone ran over what looks to be a phone utility box at the top of the loop. The homeowner who found the box tried to contact various utility companies with no luck. If you have a line that is not working, please contact your provider and report the incident. Thank you!

There will be a board meeting Saturday, October 14th at 4pm. Meeting will be held at 2740. Board will be preparing for the November annual meeting. Members are welcomed to attend, but attendance is not required.

If you haven’t done it yet, get those Halloween decorations up this week! The ACC will be judging houses this Sunday, October 15th for the Best Halloween Decorations contest. Good luck!

We have received a complaint concerning dogs barking at all hours of the night. This is a friendly reminder that dog owners need to keep their dogs quiet during sleeping hours. This is a violation of CC&Rs 9.10 and can be fined if the issue continues. Thank you

Hello Neighbors,

Last week there was some concern about a group of young people in our neighborhood who stated they were with Lumio, a solar installation company. I personally contacted the company to verify that this group was Lumio employees and the regional manager confirmed that they are. I addressed our concerns with the regional manager and he informed me that he has spoken to his reps about wearing their uniforms and following sales procedures, which include knocking on the door, giving information and offering a consultation with a specialist.

At this time Lumio has decided to cease door to door sales in Poulsbo due to two incidents last week involving assaults on their employees. I do not know if these actions occurred in our neighborhood or when/if they plan to return in the future. I did mention to the manager that his representatives had been to our neighborhood regularly over the past year and that perhaps we could be visited less often.
