Hello Neighbors! We are asking that everyone take some time while doing yard work to rid the weeds growing in the sidewalks/street in front of their house. Options for removal are weed whacking, pulling, etc. We hear that an application of vinegar to the areas can kill/prevent weeds too. The HOA can hire individuals to do the job, but we would like to see if neighbors can help to save some money. Thank you for your assistance in this matter!

Work party volunteer
Saturday, July 14th we are looking for a volunteer to help move bark to the flower beds. Delivery is scheduled between 10- noon. Volunteers will receive a $10 credit towards their 2019 HOA assessment. Please contact the HOA Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com if you are interested.
Work Party volunteer needed
We are looking for a volunteer to help with this Saturday, July 7th landscape work party. Work begins at 9am. We will be pruning and weeding the front flower beds for about 30 minutes. All volunteers receive a $10 credit towards their 2019 HOA assessment. We also have one position opened for each party for the rest of the summer. Yard Maintenance
We have been getting complaints about homeowners not mowing their lawns. We ask that lawns be mowed once a week during the growing season. We will be issuing friendly reminders later this week. If we continue to receive complaints, homeowners will receive a formal letter, followed by the board hiring a company to maintain the property at the homeowner’s expense. Please refer to the maintenance standards for further information or contact a board member. Thank you

Congratulations to Eric Rust and Carol Mezen, our new President and Treasurer. A board meeting will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 7pm, Secretary’s house (2740). The board will be going over HOA business and procedures. Members are welcome to attend the meeting, however, attendance is not necessary.
