Holiday Contest Winners

Congratulations to 2734, lot 21, and 2740, lot 22, on having this year’s best Holiday Decorations. The HOA contests for the year have concluded. The contests will return in April with our Yard of the Month winner. We wish all of you a safe and happy holiday!

The HOA needs a President! In order for the HOA to continue to operate under the management of the homeowners, all board positions must be filled. The board is currently looking into hiring a management company in the event of no volunteers. If you don’t want the added expense of an outside management company (it will be a significant increase in assessment fees!) then please volunteer. The time commitment is minimal, most work is done through email correspondence. If you are interested in the position or would like more information please contact the Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com. Thank you!

President needed

The Board is looking for a volunteer to be HOA President. This is a two year term, ending December 2026. Time commitment is minimal. Most correspondence is done through email, along with 2-4 in person meetings during the year. Responsibilities include communicating with the HOA members and hired contractors, managing the ACC by reviewing/signing project approvals, moderating meetings and monitoring the HOA President email account. It may sound like a lot, but it truly isn’t! The HOA needs three people to sit on the board. If we are unable to find volunteers to fill positions as they come up, the HOA will have no choice but to hire a management company. This comes at a significant increase of HOA cost, which you the homeowner pays.
