Mailbox Keys:

Mailbox keys are the responsibility of the Homeowner.  The HOA does not hold mailbox keys or have a skeleton key.  If you lose your key, you will need to contact a locksmith to replace the lock.

Street Parking:

There is no street parking allowed.  The roads are owned by the city and they enforce this rule. If you are having a party, talk to your neighbors about the parking situation and/or the local police department to see if arrangements can be made.  Tickets have been given to overnight parking, so beware!

Sidewalks:

Sidewalks are owned by the HOA.  Please report any damage or obstructions impeding the right of way on the sidewalk to an HOA Board member immediately, as this is a liability for all.

Mailings:

In accordance with the CC&Rs, all HOA documents will be either hand-delivered or mailed via USPS.  If you wish to receive your HOA documents via email, please sign this form consent for email communications Update 2022.docx, and mail or email it to the Secretary.  All legal documents will be mailed via certified mail.

Annual Meeting:

The Annual meeting is held in November.  This meeting is for all homeowners (members) of the Avondale Glen Homeowners Association. This meeting requires a quorum (minimum of 17 homes represented) to conduct any business.  At this meeting, homeowners vote on a budget, new board members and discuss concerns or give ideas on how to better the neighborhood.  Homeowners unable to attend this meeting should assign another member of the association as their proxy.  All information about the meeting is sent 2 weeks prior to the meeting date.

Board Meeting:

Board meetings are held once a month or every other month.  This meeting is for the board members to discuss the operations of the HOA and conduct HOA business.  Meetings are announced on this site 48 hours before the meeting is held.  Homeowners are invited to attend board meetings, but it is not required.  Meeting minutes are typically posted to this site within 2 weeks.  The meeting minutes tab is password-protected and only available to current HOA members.  If you need the password, please contact the Secretary.
