There are 5 weeks left to participate in the Landscape Work Program.  Volunteers weed, prune and mow the front common area in exchange for $10 credits toward their 2018 HOA assessments.  Work parties meet on the specified dates at 9am and work for 30 minutes.  Many who have already participated will be saving between $10- $100 on their assessments next year.  It’s not too late for you to get this savings too!  Click this link: available work party slots to view the list.  Contact the Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com to volunteer.  This is first come, first serve, so don’t delay!

We regret to announce that the potluck scheduled for this Saturday, August 12th has been cancelled on account of zero interest.  The HOA Board is happy to organize neighborhood events, however, we feel that spending funds on things no one wants to attend  is a waste of time and money.  We will place the topic of having neighborhood functions on the agenda for the Annual meeting on November 4th.

A summer newsletter has been sent out.  If you receive documents via email, the document was sent July 30th.  If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam/trash folder and be sure to mark the HOA email address as safe.  If all of your folders are empty, please let the Secretary know so we can fix whatever issue is occurring.  For those receiving hard copies via US Mail, you should get them sometime this week.

There will be a board meeting on Saturday, July 22nd at 10am (meeting will occur after the common area landscaping is done).  Meeting will be held at the Secretary’s house (2740).  All homeowners are welcome, however, attendance is not necessary.
