Assessments are due!
Happy New Year! It’s a new year and that means the HOA assessments are now due. If you haven’t done so yet, please send in your check for $210. Anyone in need of a payment plan will need to contact the HOA President at avondaleglenpresident@gmail.com . This is your last chance to arrange payment as late notices with fees will be sent out in two weeks.

Holiday Decoration Contest Winners
This year’s Holiday Decorations Contest winners are 2698, lot 15 and 2759, lot 45. Congratulations on having one of the best holiday displays in the neighborhood! If you haven’t already, take the time to walk or drive around the neighborhood at night. Our neighborhood really is beautiful (and bright!) with all the lights on! We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
Holiday Decoration Contest
It’s time for the Holiday Decoration Contest! The ACC will be coming around and voting for their favorite decorations on December 15th. Two lucky winners will be awarded a $20 gift card for Home Depot. So, dust off the old Santa display and untangle those lights and help make our neighborhood into a festive winter wonderland! We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday!
2018 Assessment
The 2018 HOA Assessment will be mailed/emailed today, Dec. 1st. Remember the assessment is due Jan. 1,2018. All assessments past due will receive a late fee. If your mortgage company pays your assessment, please make sure your information is correct. Be sure to read the letter attached to the assessment. It contains important information about the consequences of an inactive HOA. If anyone has questions or concerns, please contact the board members. Their information can be found under the “contacts and information” tab.

Since a quorum was not reached at the HOA annual meeting, the positions of Secretary and Treasurer will be appointed by the President. If you are interested in filling one of these positions, please attend this meeting. Everyone is welcomed at this meeting, however, attendance is not mandatory.
Bike Theft Reported
It has been reported that a neon green child’s bike was taken from a neighbor’s porch. A dark truck was spotted idling at the time of the theft. With the holidays upon us, please remember to retrieve all packages from your porch as soon as possible and don’t leave personal property out. The best way to deter thieves is to keep your lights on at night and investigate/report any unusual activity. Tell your neighbors if you plan to be away for the holidays, so they can keep an eye on your house. If the thieves know we are watching, they’ll stay away. Please notify the HOA board of any suspicious or criminal activity. Board members can post information on this website and it will reach the most homeowners.

Annual meeting tonight
Tonight,Saturday, November 4th at 7pm the HOA annual meeting will be held at the Poulsbo Library. Sign in will begin at 6:30pm. If you are unable to attend, please be sure to give another neighbor your proxy! We need a quorum (minimum of 17 homes) present in order to conduct HOA business and vote for Secretary and Treasurer.
