Congratulations to 2698, lot 15 and 2740, lot 22 on having the best Halloween decorations in the neighborhood! Our next contest will be held in December for the Best Holiday Decorations. Judging will happen on December 15th. Two winners will be chosen and will win a sign to display on their front yard and a $20 gift certificate to Home Depot. We hope everyone has a safe and spooktacular Halloween!

The HOA annual meeting notice has been mail/emailed today, Oct. 23rd. Those who receive emails should have it in your inbox now. If it is not there check your spam/trash folder. If you can’t find it, email the secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com and she will send it again. Please be sure to read through everything and let the board know if you have any questions.

In addition, the landscape work party is officially done for the season. Thank you to all of our volunteers! This program would not exist without your hard work! Our next season will begin next April, view our website if you are interested in the program and would like to learn more about it.

Due to the weather, we have decided to extend the contest and announce the winners on October 25th. This will give everyone 2 extra weekends to get your house decorated for Halloween!

There will be a board meeting Friday, October 8th at 7pm. Meeting will be held at the Secretary’s house. The agenda will include finalizing/approving Annual Meeting documents. All members are welcome to attend, however, due to Covid we ask that you submit questions or concerns via email instead.

Congratulations to 2686, lot 13 on being this month’s Yard of the Month winner! This ends our Yard of the Month contest for the year, but we do have two more contests coming up. In October, we have the Best Halloween Decorations contest. Then, in December, the Best Holiday Decorations contest. In both contests, 2 homeowners will receive a sign to display for the month and a gift card from Home Depot. Winners will be announced on the 15th of each month. We look forward to seeing the neighborhood decorated for the season!!
