Hello Homeowners!  We have recently received news that our HOA Treasurer, Carol Mezen, will be moving.  Carol has done a wonderful job as treasurer, she will be missed!  We are now looking for her replacement and hope someone will step up right away.  The position is not complicated and if you volunteer now, Carol will show you how to do it!  The board stays in communication through email most of the time, however, we do have meetings about once a quarter, unless something important comes up that needs immediate attention.  If you would like to volunteer or would like more information please contact the HOA President, Eric Rust, at avondaleglenpresident@gmail.com.   Thank you!

We are looking for a volunteer to help weed/prune the front common area on Saturday, June 22nd at 9am.  Volunteers earn a $15 credit towards their 2020 HOA Assessment for 30 minutes of work.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the HOA Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com. Congratulations to 2620, Lot 2 on being this month’s Yard of the Month winner!

There will be a board meeting on May 22, 2019 at 6:30pm.  Meeting will be held at the President’s house (2734).  Agenda will include discussion of late assessment and neighborhood maintenance.   Members are welcome to attend the meeting, however, attendance is not necessary.

Congratulations to 2782, Lot 29 on being this month’s Yard of the Month winner. The Yard of the Month contest will run thru September, so there is still plenty of time to spruce up your yard to try to win a $20 gift certificate to Home Depot!

There will be an Easter egg hunt tomorrow, Saturday, April 20th at 10:30am.  This is a rain or shine event.  Homeowners who are participating should place eggs on their front lawns.  All kids should meet at the front of the neighborhood by the Avondale Glen signs.  Hope to see you there!

Please join us on Saturday, April 20th at 10:30am for the Avondale Glen Easter Egg Hunt.  Homeowners who would like to participate can place wrapped candy or filled plastic eggs in their front yards.  Kids will meet at 10:30am at the Avondale Glen signs.  Kids will then run house to house collecting their treats.  If you have questions, please contact the HOA President at avondaleglenpresident@gmail.com. Last year, the board created the Party Crew, a 3 member committee that plans HOA events throughout the year.  This is a group all about fun!  If you like parties and potlucks this is the perfect way to contribute to the neighborhood.  Please contact the HOA President, Eric Rust, at avondaleglenpresident@gmail.com if are interested in participating.  Thank you!

With spring just around the corner, it’s time to start the Landscape Work Party program!  The schedule for 2019 can be viewed on the Work Party tab.  There will be a meeting on Saturday, March 23rd at 2pm to discuss the program, answer questions and sign up for spots.  Meeting will be held in the Secretary’s garage at 2740.  This year homeowners’ will receive $15 for each day volunteered toward their 2020 HOA assessment.  Hope to see you there!
