Car Prowlers came back

A neighbor captured on video early this morning at 3:20am individuals checking vehicles to break in to. The neighbor believes the prowler’s car is the same one seen on July 3rd. If your car was broken into last night or on July 3rd, please respond to this post or email the Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com. Let us know if anything was taken and if you reported the break in to the police. The Secretary will be contacting the police department to request increased nightly patrols in our neighborhood. We encourage anyone with a camera to check your videos to see if you have any information that could lead to an arrest and send it to the police department. As usual, we recommend leaving your outside house lights on at night and locking up your property. If you are going out of town, let your neighbors know and ask them to bring in your trash cans, pick up packages/newspapers and watch your house. It is unfortunate that this has happened twice in a two week period. All we can do is be vigilant and make this crime difficult to commit by placing as many obstacles in their way.

Board Meeting

There will be a board meeting held on Wednesday, July 20th at 7pm. Meeting will be at the Secretary’s house, 2740. Members are welcome to attend, however attendance is not necessary.

Lost Phone

A homeowner has lost their phone and is hoping someone in the neighborhood has seen it. It is an Android phone in a clear case with silver floating confetti. Please respond to this post or contact the Secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com if found. Thank you!

UPDATE: Car Break Ins

UPDATE: It appears that several cars were broken into last night. We encourage everyone to check their property as soon as possible. The car that the thieves used is described as an old model Ford and they were wearing masks, hoodies and gloves. If anyone has any further information, please let the police know.

Car Break In

A neighbor has reported their car was broken into last night around 3am. They were able to capture the guy on video. Please be advised that car/house break ins are on the rise in our area. Take extra precautions to keep prowlers away from you, your family and your property. We encourage everyone to keep house lights on at night, being our neighborhood has so few streetlights. Please remember to lock all doors/windows and keep valuables out of sight. Thieves want to take the path of least resistance, so put as many obstacles as you can between you and them!
