We have had 3 reports of individuals coming onto homeowner’s property and leaving without incident. Poulsbo Police department has been contacted by the HOA Board and they have responded that they will increase patrols through the neighborhood. Please remember: do not leave windows, doors or garages open over night or when you are not home, keep your porch lights on to help illuminate our dark neighborhood and inform neighbors if you are going out of town. Keep watch and report any suspicious activity to the Poulsbo Police Department. Thank you!
Month: July 2018
Suspicious Activity Reported
Neighbors have reported individuals coming onto their property then leaving. No theft or intruders but we want everyone to be aware that individuals may be staking out our neighborhood. We advise everyone to leave on their porch lights and install security lights in your backyards to help deter this kind of activity. Keep your garages closed and do not leave valuables in your car. Also, inform your neighbors if you plan on being out of town, so they can watch your house and pick up newspapers, packages or bring in trash cans. We have several military personnel/firefighters who are currently deployed. Please get to know these families and assist their spouses. Please contact the HOA board if you experience suspicious activity and report the activity to the police so that they can increase patrols. Thank you!

We will have another 5 yards delivered around 8 am, and we expect it to take about the same amount of time. Volunteers will need to bring their own shovel and wheelbarrow. If you would like to help, please contact the secretary at avondaleglensecretary@gmail.com. Thank you!
Weeds in street and sidewalks
Hello Neighbors! We are asking that everyone take some time while doing yard work to rid the weeds growing in the sidewalks/street in front of their house. Options for removal are weed whacking, pulling, etc. We hear that an application of vinegar to the areas can kill/prevent weeds too. The HOA can hire individuals to do the job, but we would like to see if neighbors can help to save some money. Thank you for your assistance in this matter!
